Annular Solar Eclipse of 3rd October 2005 was partially visible from Europe. Eclipse for Belgrade was visible between 10:05.43AM CEST and 12:45.46PM CEST.

Despite poor weather conditions visitors of the Public Observatory in Kalemedan were able to observe the eclipse using our telescope.

Regular observations of the Sun are practiced more or less regularly on Public Observatory since August 2004, in order to track its photospheric activity. Sun is photographed in primary focus of 110/2040 mm refractor on clear days from 11h 50m till 13h 00m, using digital camera Canon EOS 300D (6.3 Mpix). Interesting regions are also being taken at focal length of 9000 mm, using digital camera..
