Public Observatory

On every Friday and Saturday, if the skies are clear, our telescopes are available for visitors to observe celestial bodies.

There are two telescopes at the Public Observatory terrace - Zeiss refracting telescope (110/2200 mm) and reflector Tall 200 K (200/2200 mm) - used primarily for night observations. Observations are enriched by our observers' and associates' comments and the night entrance fee is 30,00 dinars.

Beside the two mentioned instruments, our Society own two more telescopes (with openings of 33 cm and 20 cm), which are used on special occasions, like observation trips or summer camps.

At the Public Observatory terrace, also four panoramic telescopes are installed for daily observations of the city's panorama (unique place in Belgrade).

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 9AM and 4PM,
Fridays and Saturdays between 2PM and 10PM.
